The Cooperative Ground Durga Puja Samity's pandal pays tribute to rural Bengali culture, featuring iconic painter Jamini Roy's artwork, along with traditional Bengali handicraft items. The Durgotsab GK2 pandal showcases Kalighat-style patachitra art on its ceiling, resembling a visual sankirtan. A black and white sketch by artist Nilanjan, depicting the workers who built the Durgotsab GK2 pandal, greets visitors.40, CR Park is featuring traditional folk art from four regions of Bengal - Birbhum, Bankura, Purulia, and Midnapur - renowned for their rich red soil. The ceiling is adorned with gamcha, while the walls and panels showcase the rural heritage of the Rahr Bangla areas of Bengal. Ashish, a school teacher and artist, was seen putting the finishing touches on a shora - hand-painted earthen discs at the Pocket 40 pandal. The Arambagh Puja Samiti pandal with the theme 'Abandoned Mothers' sheds light on the challenges faced by widows navigating life on their own. Matri Mandir's pandal offers a fascinating exploration of gram Bangla with vibrant Bengali artwork displayed throughout the alleys and panels. Meanwhile, at Jalvayu Vihar Sanskritik Kalyan Samity’s pandal in Sector 21, artists from Bengal have created a Bonedi Bari, complete with green wooden windows and cross beams on the ceiling, and panels adorned with paintings celebrating dhunuchi naach. The 16th edition of Balaka Durgotsav in Sector 61 Noida is themed 'Temple of Peace and Harmony', featuring an off-white and gold pandal embellished with intricate cut-outs of doves. Visitors are led by the Alpona on the street to the Noida Sector 137 Sarbojanin Pujo Samiti’s pandal adorned with multiple hand-painted kulos. Drawing inspiration from the film "Sonnar Kella" (1974), DLF Phase IV's DCDP Bengali Cultural Society celebrates Satyajit Ray's cinema and the legacy of the Ray family - Upendra Kishor, Sukumar, and Satyajit Ray with a pandal facade resembling the golden fortress from the movie.It is similar to the Sun Temple of Konark in appearance.
